DER SPIEGEL
As a regular contributor to DER SPIEGEL, Manager Magazin, and SPIEGEL Wissen, I develop illustrations that go beyond the surface of historical narrative. My aim is not merely to depict events, but to translate the atmosphere and visual identity of each era into imagery.
Whether evoking the refined aesthetics of imperial Japan, the theatrical tension of ancient Greece, or employing a classic noir style to accompany contemporary crime stories, each illustration becomes a visual interpretation—carefully crafted to resonate with the editorial content and to create a compelling relationship between text and image. In this way, my work offers more than context; it becomes an extension of the storytelling itself.
